THE FEASTING DREAM

THE FEASTING DREAM

“The steppe grass swayed in its ancestral patterns like flaxen hair, and the rider dreamt of his lost sister. He had traveled on horseback for many days, but all the slight pains of his body didn’t worry him, nothing more than a distant whispering in his mind.

The dreams were important, the face of his sister half-hidden by flames, her skin shadowed by soot, her eyes animated by fiery reflections. The dreams showed the rider a way to find her, and two days ago, they had begun to change.”
